Introduction
Zassa ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Zassa mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, profile photo, and location (city-level). We also collect usage data such as puzzle listings, swap activity, ratings, and chat messages. Device information (OS version, device type) is collected for diagnostics.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: operate and improve the App, facilitate connections and swaps between users, send notifications about swap requests and messages, display your public profile to other users, and analyze usage patterns to improve the experience.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information with: other users (your public profile, puzzle listings, reviews), service providers who help us operate the App (hosting, analytics), and law enforcement when required by law.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for data storage with row-level security policies. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is completely secure.
5. Your Rights
You can access, update, or delete your personal information through the App settings. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account entirely. We will respond to data requests within 30 days.
6. Cookies & Tracking
The App uses minimal analytics to understand usage patterns. We do not use advertising trackers. You can opt out of analytics in the App settings.
7. Children's Privacy
Zassa is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. The date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised.
